Our New Development of Luxury Solid Log Norwegian Lodges
This new development is even more spectacular than our first phase of Norwegian Holiday Lodges, ‘Kipp Paddock’ which was completed in 2006. The new Norwegian Holiday lodges are set high above the beautiful Seaside Village of Kippford in Dumfries and Galloway, overlooking the Estuary of the River Urr enjoying views of over 25 miles. Exceptional privacy of plots is provided, and holiday lodges are offerred private spa-pools, hot tubs and saunas. Woodland and Coastal walks start almost from the doorstep.
Design and Layout
Our signature design, the ‘Merrick’, is the most popular layout, although all our holiday lodges are 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom models. The Merrick design includes a Sauna off the main bathroom, as well as an outside store and fully roofed front and side decks, perfect for enjoying the garden, outstanding views, and the changing tide in the estuary. Overall the size is 175sq m. The views over the River Urr and across to Screel Hill are simply stunning, and the living/dining area is enormous. Floor plans of both the Merrick and the Criffel holiday lodge design can be found on our website. There is also the option to include a private hot tub or spa pool on your plot if you choose, perfect for relaxing in the evening.Plots Available for Sale
To date five of our Luxury Lodges have been sold. The Show Lodge - with its stunning views and most interesting terraced garden - as well as a further two plots are still available for sale freehold.Norwegian Lodges are sold freehold, so Owners do not need to refer to any third party if they wish to re-sell at any time.

Designed to Suit You
One of our new owners has opted to have an office instead of the original sauna in his lodge which is currently being built. Changes like this can be made at the time of ordering and designs for landscaping are generaly agreed at this time too. The fitted kitchen and bathrooms are included in the guide price and again these can be altered to the purchasers specifications.Legal Information
All sales are freehold so you would own the land and there are no annual Pitch Fees. A charge of £360pa is paid for connection and servicing of utility supplies and supply of (mains) water. Electricity is mains and gas is from private bulk tanks. Interested clients may reserve a plot with a 5% deposit, fully refundable for any reason for a period of 31 days, following our normal policy, to allow the layout and land boundaries to be confirmed and for purchasers’ Solicitors to examine and attend to missives.
